Alright, I played the first FIFA Street game and I thought it was OK; it was a stylish football game that was different to it’s... better counterparts. This game is just a cash-in really; even the... whoever the fuck developed it would tell you, well not like that but you know. Let’s start off with the gameplay like I usually do. Gameplay... hmm... gameplay... OK so it’s usually four verses four on a small pitch, and you basically score goals, you get some challenges which can get frustrating; these vary from scoring five goals to scoring five goals with your head. No, not really fun. Gamebreakers, I think that’s what they’re called I can’t be bothered loading up the game to check, are still present. I really liked these Gamebreakers actually in the first game, I haven’t played the second game but I’m sure I’m not missing out. Gamebreakers are basically where you hit RB after you fill you’re dick head meter up from showing off like an arse hole in the game, to fill this up you can do back flips off the wall which all footballers can really do yeah... oh and they can also shoot after doing a back flip whilst in midair, why not just make them able to turn the ball into a piece of cheese yeah that’ll be probably possible too. Eugh...
OK, graphics, yeah FIFA Street 3 looks creepy, I’ve never liked clowns and this game just brings back some scary memories. Anyway the game looks pretty cool, the shadows, the lighting, it all fits and the new art style really brings out some of the characters personalities. What else is there to say about the graphics? They’re not groundbreaking, they’re EA Sports. Need I say more?
Sound, I’m going to be honest, I think the soundtrack in this game is shit; yeah I like synthesisers sometimes in music but in all the songs? No. I discovered a band that I liked from this game actually, “Does it offend you? Yeah” I think that’s what they’re called. It’s just my personal taste but I don’t really like the soundtrack, some people out there will.
You can’t get much out of FIFA Street 3; it’s an arcade-type game in a sense so I suppose it’s like that for a reason but that’s ridiculous. The online is laggy and two letters spring to mind here: EA, and another word after that: servers.
Overall, FIFA Street 3 is not worth a buy, you should buy the real game instead, and yeah I’m talking FIFA 08 or whatever the latest one is called.
